Our process is registering a '---' in the BLK column of sin. It is consuming a lot of CPU time. Why is it registered like this?

| Solution |
The '---' means that the process is not blocked. This application is running ready which means it is consumming all of the CPU until either:
1. A higher process needs the cpu,
2. The process is done it's timeslice and another process at the same priority needs the cpu, or
3. The application blocks on a function call.
