Keeping the Car Relevant + Software Up-to-date Through Device Connectivity
Date: |

Description
Automakers must accommodate vehicle lifecycles (measured in years), and the short lifecycles of consumer devices, which may become obsolete in less than two years. Automakers, their suppliers, and smartphone vendors all seem to agree that the solution involves integration of the smartphone and the in-vehicle head unit. In this webinar, we review the advantages and disadvantages of different models for this integration, and we learn about the features needed to ensure that tomorrow’s in-vehicle systems will stay current.
Estimated length: 1 hour, including Q&A
Who should attend: This seminar will be of interest to automotive software engineers and managers as well as consumer device makers who are involved in the automotive industry.
